Shipping Policy
SHIPPING:
For USA customers, we offer a flat $15 USD shipping rate via USPS Priority Mail unchanged by order size, unless specified otherwise within Product Description. Customers requesting USPS Priority Mail Express shipping within the contiguous USA incur a fee of $35 USD. Customers requesting USPS priority express shipping to Alaska and Hawaii incur a fee of $45 USD.
For international customers, SWARTLEY WEST provides international shipping via USPS Priority Mail International. We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. For Canada, we charge a flat shipping rate of $30 USD. For all other countries, we charge a flat shipping rate of $50 USD. The customer is responsible for ALL duties and taxes incurred during transit, which are to be paid upon arrival of the package. If the package is not accepted or refused at any point after it has been shipped, the customer is responsible for all expenses incurred thereafter.
As we have no control over custom delays, we are unable to estimate shipping deliveries on international orders.
We cannot ship to post office (PO) boxes.
WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO?
SWARTLEY WEST ships globally but there are exceptions. If you do not see your country during checkout, we do not ship to your country. For USA customers, we ship within Contiguous United States plus Alaska and Hawaii. We cannot ship to post office (PO) boxes.
IS MY PACKAGE INSURED?
All purchases are insured while in transit from SWARTLEY WEST to your shipping address. Once your package leaves our warehouse, it is under the jurisdiction of the shipping provider and we are not and cannot be responsible for delays or loss due to the shipping provider. Once your package has been delivered at your specified address, it is no longer covered and the risk of loss passes to you.
Once an order is placed, we cannot change the shipping address. You will receive a tracking email from us once your package ships.
WHERE DOES MY ORDER SHIP FROM?
Orders are shipped from New Jersey (USA).
WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Orders for in stock merchandise with standard shipping normally take between 1 to 2 business days to be processed and shipped. Business days are Monday thru Friday until 5pm EST, excluding weekends and holidays. Expedited shipping is available to USA customers only and expedited orders must be placed by 12pm EST to ship same day.
HOW MUCH TAXES WILL I HAVE TO PAY FOR DOMESTIC (USA) ORDERS?
Prices displayed on our website are exclusive of taxes and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
If you are shipping within the USA, SWARTLEY WEST only collects sales tax on jewelry orders shipped to New Jersey. SWARTLEY WEST does not collect sales or use tax in any other states at this time. However, your purchase may be subject to local sales or use tax unless it is exempt from taxation. It is your responsibility as the customer to report any purchases of tangible personal property that have not been taxed by SWARTLEY WEST and pay sales or use tax on those purchases unless exempt under local law.
HOW MUCH DUTIES AND TAXES WILL I HAVE TO PAY ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
If you are shipping outside the USA, once your order arrives at its destination, you will be required to pay all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes levied by the country to which you are shipping in order to release your order from customs. Duties and taxes will be marked “bill to recipient”. We are not responsible for orders not accepted due to failure to pay duties and taxes. No exceptions.
